The problem: Securely mounting a laser pointer to a Mo-sys Lambda repeatable motion rig for the purpose of accurately calibrating camera position.

The solution: A simple bracket was designed that bolts into an existing mounting location on the camera bracket of the remote head. The laser pointer is securely mounted within this bracket. To enable accurate activation of the laser pointer without any unwanted movement, a collar with a small bolt and nut is slipped over the laser pointer and positioned on the button.
